ALA - West Foothills entered their tilt with ALA - Ironwood on Tuesday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They blew past the Warriors 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 last Tuesday.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: ALA - West Foothills took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-11, 25-14.

Lincoln Holdaway paced ALA - West Foothills' offense, picking up 14 kills. Holdaway got some help from Ethan Smead and his 18 assists. Holdaway was also solid from the service line: he led the team with five aces.

ALA - West Foothills' win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 21-4. As for ALA - Ironwood, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season.

Coincidentally, ALA - West Foothills and ALA - Ironwood will both be playing Valley Christian the next time they take the court. The Guardians will head out to face the Trojans at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Warriors will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
