Kash Cobb's Big Game Leads Weiser over Fruitland

Weiser picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Kash Cobb. Cobb turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 221 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.2 yards per carry. His longest rush was for an incredible 89 yards.

This year, Cobb has run in 14 touchdowns while averaging 136.5 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after eight games last season, he had one rushing touchdown.

Pecunia Posts Huge Game in 26-13 Win

Payette's four-game losing streak is now nothing but a memory thanks in part to Darrien Pecunia. Pecunia was dynamite on Friday, rushing for 129 yards and a touchdown on only 13 carries. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making five total tackles and defending a pass.

The win got Payette back to even at 4-4. Pecunia and Payette will challenge Weiser at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Ethan Minegar Delivers Best Effort of Season

Cole Valley Christian came up short on Friday despite Ethan Minegar delivering his best game to date. Minegar picked up 60 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack and making four total tackles.

Cole Valley Christian is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7. Minegar and Cole Valley Christian will square off against Homedale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Fruitland had to settle for second on Friday, but Coye Coffman sure wasn't going down easily. Weiser had no answer to Coffman as he picked up 76 receiving yards.

Weiser had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Coffman it was a similar story. Coffman picked up 56 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 101 yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Wolverines duked it out back in October of 2023.
