Soccer Game Preview: Yucca Valley vs. West Shores

The Yucca Valley Trojans will venture away from home to take on the West Shores Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.

Yucca Valley is likely headed into the match with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Lucerne Valley on Wednesday. Yucca Valley came up short against Lucerne Valley, falling 4-1. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Shores). They blew past Twentynine Palms 9-0 on Tuesday.

The victory got West Shores back to even at 2-2. As for Yucca Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Everything went Yucca Valley's way against West Shores in their previous meeting back in December of 2019, as Yucca Valley made off with a 4-1 win. Does Yucca Valley have another victory up their sleeve, or will West Shores turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
