Volleyball Recap: Valwood Comes Up Short

After flying high against Thomasville on Thursday, Valwood came back down to earth. The Valiants fell just short of the Lanier Longhorns by a score of 2-1 on Saturday.

Lanier can attribute much of their success to Kaylee Coar, who had ten digs. Those ten digs gave Coar a new career-high.

Valwood's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Lanier, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-3.

Valwood has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against St. Andrew's on the 9th. As for Lanier, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against The King's Academy on the 9th.
