Baseball Recap: Austin Achieve Finds Home Field Redemption Against LBJ Austin

There's no place like home for Austin Achieve, who bounced back after a loss on the road back in March. Everything went their way against the LBJ Austin Jaguars on Tuesday as they made off with a 19-13 victory.

Rey Tellez was a standout: he scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Richard Cavanaugh was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.

Austin Achieve always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .659. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as LBJ Austin only posted an OBP of .417.

Austin Achieve's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for LBJ Austin, they dropped their record down to 1-12 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Jaguars beat Austin Achieve by a score of 15-1 on Friday.
