Preview: Cedar Grove Panthers vs. Glen Ridge Ridgers
Cedar Grove has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will take on The Glen Ridge Ridgers at TBD on Friday. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Friday, Cedar Grove didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Shabazz, but they still walked away with a 32-26 victory.
Stephen Paradiso and Nicholas Iannacone were among the main playmakers for Cedar Grove as the former threw for 292 yards and a touchdown and the latter picked up 184 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Jackson Morrice also helped out with an impressive 97 receiving yards.
Meanwhile, after only seven points in their last match, Glen Ridge made sure to put some points up on the board against Waldwick/Midland Park on Friday. Glen Ridge walked away with a 33-26 victory over Waldwick/Midland Park.
Cedar Grove's victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Glen Ridge, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Cedar Grove against Glen Ridge in their previous meeting back in September as the team secured a 44-6 win. Will Cedar Grove repeat their success, or does Glen Ridge have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
