Basketball Game Preview: South Forsyth War Eagles vs. Denmark

South Forsyth and Denmark are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2019, but not for long. The South Forsyth War Eagles will welcome Denmark at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

South Forsyth easily dispatched Northview on Saturday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. South Forsyth fell just short of Forsyth Central by a score of 60-58 on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the War Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 243rd, while the Bulldogs are ranked 106th).

Meanwhile, Denmark was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 22nd straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 64-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of West Forsyth.

Denmark's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for South Forsyth, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.

Everything went South Forsyth's way against Denmark in their previous matchup back in January, as South Forsyth made off with a 71-49 win. Will South Forsyth repeat their success, or does Denmark have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
