Jefferson entered their tilt with New Prague on Tuesday with 12 consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with 13. They beat the Trojans by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 7-1. The Jaguars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 matches by six runs or more this season.

Jefferson's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for New Prague, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-9.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Jefferson beat the Trojans by a score of 7-0 later that day.
