Basketball Game Preview: FBCHA Eagles vs. Legacy Prep Christian Academy Lions

The FBCHA Eagles and the Legacy Prep Christian Academy Lions will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. FBCHA is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.

FBCHA saw some tournament action on Friday. They had to suffer through a 62-33 loss at the hands of San Antonio Patriots HomeSchool. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 904th, while San Antonio Patriots HomeSchool are ranked 315th).

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Legacy Prep Christian Academy challenged Covenant Christian on Friday. Legacy Prep Christian Academy took their game with ease, bagging a 52-24 victory over Covenant Christian. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 24 points or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Legacy Prep Christian Academy and bumps their season record up to 6-4. As for FBCHA, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.

FBCHA took a serious blow against Legacy Prep Christian Academy when the teams last played back in January, falling 73-40. Can FBCHA avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
