The Cedar Creek Cougars will venture away from home to take on the Arcadia Hornets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cedar Creek is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 29.1 points per game this season.

Cedar Creek took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They claimed a resounding 65-32 win over Lincoln Prep. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 41-12.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 47 points the game before, Arcadia was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They were outmatched by Haynesville and fell 54-6. The Hornets were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 33-6.

Cedar Creek's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Arcadia, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

Cedar Creek couldn't quite finish off Arcadia when the teams last played back in November of 2024 and fell 14-12. Can the Cougars avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
