Volleyball Recap: Southridge Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Southridge can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Varela Vipers on Tuesday. The Spartans haven't had much luck with the Vipers recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Jose Santos was the offensive standout of the matchup as he had 19 assists. That's the most assists he has posted over his last seven contests.

Southridge now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Varela, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-6.

Southridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Varela, they have already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against Belen Jesuit on the 1st.
