Volleyball Recap: STEM School Highlands Ranch Takes a Loss

STEM School Highlands Ranch lost against Gunnison back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Spartans took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cowboys. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Gunnison's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Natalia Sabino led the charge by getting five digs and two aces. Another player making a difference was Aubriel Loken, who had seven digs and four aces.

STEM School Highlands Ranch's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Gunnison, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

STEM School Highlands Ranch has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against D'Evelyn on the 6th. As for Gunnison, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Bennett on the 6th.
