            Baseball Preview: East Wilkes Cardinals vs. North Stokes Vikings        
        
		
        
        
            The East Wilkes Cardinals are taking a road trip to  square off against the North Stokes Vikings  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. East Wilkes will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
East Wilkes will bounce into Thursday's   game after  beating Mount Airy, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Cardinals came out on top against the Granite Bears by a score of  6-1  on Tuesday.
  Dalton Wood spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on five hits.
Meanwhile, North Stokes earned  an  11-8 victory over South Stokes  on Tuesday. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Vikings.
 The team  relied heavily on  Ryan Smith, who  went 2-for-3 with one  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jackson Lester, who  went 2-for-3 with one  run and one  RBI.
