Volleyball Recap: Piedmont Hills Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Piedmont Hills managed to slip by Westmont the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Pirates came up short against the Warriors on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Pirates' loss continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-18, 25-16.

Zimo Zhou paced Piedmont Hills' offense, picking up six kills. Zhou got some help from Allison Williams and her six assists. Zhou also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Lauren Chiu, each putting up three.

Piedmont Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 10-16. As for Westmont, their victory bumped their record up to 15-16.

As of now, neither Piedmont Hills nor the Warriors have any future games scheduled.
