Oak Harbor is 9-1 against Genoa Area since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Rockets will look to defend their home field against the Comets at 5:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Monday.

Genoa Area will challenge a team with plenty of momentum: Oak Harbor extended their winning streak to four on Saturday. The Rockets never let Notre Dame Academy get on the board and left with an 11-0 victory. Considering the Rockets have won nine matchups by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Genoa Area, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 19-0 margin over Fostoria on Friday. The Comets not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since April 8th (when they won 23-2).

Kody Teet was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs, three RBI, and one triple. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. Kylie Pennington was another key player, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two triples, two RBI, and one run.

Genoa Area always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .686. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Genoa Area's win bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Oak Harbor, their victory bumped their record up to 15-3.

Everything went Oak Harbor's way against Genoa Area in their previous matchup on April 10th, as Oak Harbor made off with a 17-0 win. Do the Rockets have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Comets turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
