Baseball Recap: Roanoke-Benson/Lowpoint-Washburn's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Roanoke-Benson/Lowpoint-Washburn lost a heartbreaker the last time they played St. Bede, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Wednesday's matchup. The Rockets blew past the Bruins 12-2 on Wednesday. The Rockets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by six runs or more this season.

The win snapped Roanoke-Benson/Lowpoint-Washburn's losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 9-8 record. As for St. Bede, their defeat ended a nine-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 14-3.
