Softball Recap: Point Arena Takes a Loss

The Point Arena Pirates lost 18-1 to the Cloverdale Eagles on Friday.

Point Arena saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hattie Piper, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.

Point Arena's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Cloverdale, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Point Arena will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Clear Lake at 4:00 p.m. on March 18th. As for Cloverdale, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Piner at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
