Volleyball Recap: Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran Extends Winning Streak to Four

Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They came out on top against the New London Bulldogs by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Blazers also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Paige Loock paced Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran's offense, picking up six kills. Loock got some help from Olivia Kirchner and her 19 assists. Kirchner also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Sydney Steffel, racking up three apiece.

Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for New London, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Menasha on the 28th. After both having extra time off, New London and Xavier will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
