One thing working in Thomas Jefferson Campus' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.

Thomas Jefferson Campus is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of New York's top teams: Eagle Academy II, who was ranked 16th at the time (Thomas Jefferson Campus was ranked second). Thomas Jefferson Campus came out on top against Eagle Academy II by a score of 86-75 on Thursday.

Thomas Jefferson Campus can attribute much of their success to Jahda Swann, who shot 5-for-8 from downtown and dropped a double-double on 35 points and 12 boards, and Connor Sprattley, who went 6 of 15 en route to 28 points along with six assists and five rebounds. The contest was Swann's fifth in a row with at least ten points.

Meanwhile, Brooklyn Collegiate was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 76-65 hit to the loss column at the hands of Canarsie. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Thursday (60), Brooklyn Collegiate still had to take the loss.

Thomas Jefferson Campus pushed their record up to 20-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road. As for Brooklyn Collegiate, their loss dropped their record down to 6-14.

Thomas Jefferson Campus strolled past Brooklyn Collegiate in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 by a score of 76-62. The rematch might be a little tougher for Thomas Jefferson Campus since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
