Volleyball Game Preview: Buffalo Grove Bison vs. Rolling Meadows Mustangs

Buffalo Grove has gone 7-2 against Rolling Meadows recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Bison will be playing in front of their home fans against the Mustangs at 6:00 a.m. Rolling Meadows took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Buffalo Grove, who comes in off a win.

Buffalo Grove took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They had just enough and edged out Wheeling 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Bison have posted since April 19th.

Buffalo Grove had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 25-17, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Rolling Meadows came up short against Prospect on Tuesday and fell 2-0. The loss continues a trend for the Mustangs in their meetings with the Knights: they've now lost seven in a row.

While Rolling Meadows ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-19.

Buffalo Grove's win bumped their record up to 12-13. As for Rolling Meadows, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-12.
