Basketball Recap: Elkhorn Triumphs

There's no place like home for Elkhorn, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. In a tight game that could have gone either way, they made off with a 52-51 win over the Burlington Demons. The 52-point effort marked the Elks' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Elkhorn's victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1. As for Burlington, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.

Elkhorn will take on Oregon in a holiday battle at at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Burlington and Racine Horlick will round out the year against one another at at 7:15 p.m. on December 26th. Burlington is facing Racine Horlick at the right time seeing as Racine Horlick is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
