Volleyball Recap: Dove Creek Comes Up Short

Dove Creek was the 3-1 winner over Mancos when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bulldogs took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bluejays on Tuesday. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Dove Creek couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Mancos a tough time in the third set. The final score came out to 25-22, 21-25, 31-29, 25-15.

Dove Creek's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Mancos, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dove Creek will face off against Monticello at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mancos, they will be taking part in a tournament against West Grand at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
