Hickory had won eight straight games and Jaheem Jenkins did his part to make it nine on Friday. It took a bit of extra time, but the Red Tornadoes secured a 47-45 victory against the Bandys Trojans in overtime thanks in part to Jenkins: he rushed for 126 yards and four TDs. Hickory also relied on Jenkins, who's 49-yard boot wound up being the difference in the game.
Despite the loss, Bandys still got an impressive performance from Brady Swett, who threw for 365 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 34 yards and one score. Kayden Henrickson also helped out as he racked up 192 receiving yards.
