Softball Recap: Tough Loss for Chase County

Chase County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 30th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 17-0 to the Wray Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 21-0 on Tuesday.

Even though they lost, Chase County hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. That's the best they've done in that category since at least September 2, 2025.

Chase County's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Wray, they are now 6-8, having gone 4-2 since their six-game losing streak ended.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chase County will welcome Gering at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wray, they will play host again on Saturday to welcome Valley, where first pitch is scheduled at 1:30 p.m.
