Basketball Recap: Brady Hennig Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Auburn

Auburn typically has all the answers at home, but on Saturday Mount Si proved too difficult a challenge. They secured a 56-50 W over the Auburn Trojans.

Mount Si's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Brady Hennig led the charge by dropping a double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds. The dominant performance gave Hennig a new career-high in boards. Another player making a difference was Hudson Moscrip, who posted 12 points.

Mount Si is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.1 points over those games. Auburn's defeat ended a ten-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 23-3.

Mount Si wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 55-47 loss against Puyallup on the 6th. As for Auburn, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 56-45 victory against Olympia on the 5th.
