Basketball Recap: Gardendale Comes Up Short

Gardendale has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were dealt a 63-33 defeat at the hands of the Pleasant Grove Spartans on Tuesday. The contest marked the Rockets' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Gardendale's loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-8. As for Pleasant Grove, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 21-5.

Gardendale will head out on the road to face off against Leeds at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Pleasant Grove does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
