Baseball Recap: Salina Central Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Salina Central's offense. They came up short against the Eisenhower Tigers on Friday, falling 9-0. The loss continues a trend for the Mustangs in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost eight in a row.

Salina Central's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Eisenhower, their win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-5.

Coming up, Eisenhower will face off against Arkansas City at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Salina Central will be paying especially close attention to the Tigers' game: after the Tigers face off against Andover, they'll take on Salina Central again on Friday.
