Central waltzed into their game on Wednesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They walked away with an 8-4 victory over the Auburn Tigers. The Red Devils have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

Central pushed their record up to 22-7 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.8 runs over those games. As for Auburn, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-12 record this season.

Central will have a chance to go back-to-back against Auburn: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
