Baseball Game Preview: Severance Silver Knights vs. Greeley Central Wildcats

For the second straight game, Severance will face off against Greeley Central. The Silver Knights will head out on the road to square off against the Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Severance is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.9 runs per game this season.

Severance's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over Greeley Central. The Silver Knights haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Jackson Steenburgen was a standout: he went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Ewoniuk, who got on base in two of his three plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Severance was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. They are a perfect 9-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Severance's victory bumped their record up to 11-5. As for Greeley Central, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.
