Channelview has gone a perfect 3-0 against Goose Creek Memorial recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Falcons will take on the Patriots at 7:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Channelview and four for Goose Creek Memorial.

Channelview's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against North Shore on Friday. They had to suffer through a 70-0 loss at the hands of the Mustangs. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 609th, while the Mustangs are ranked eighth).

Meanwhile, Goose Creek Memorial played a tough game on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by Summer Creek and fell 73-13. The Patriots were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 49-0.

Goose Creek Memorial now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Channelview, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.

Channelview didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Goose Creek Memorial in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, but they still walked away with a 27-21 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Falcons since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
