Volleyball Recap: Wallace Wildcats vs. Paxton Tigers

It was a proper cat-fight when Wallace duked it out with Paxton on Thursday. The Wildcats came up short against the Tigers, falling 3-0. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-18, 25-11.

Reagan Finley paced Wallace's offense, picking up five kills. Finley got some help from Kaley Sauser and her five assists. Allyson Kemp controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Wallace's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Paxton, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.

Wallace will be playing at home against Brady at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Paxton, they will square off against Arthur County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
