Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Stringer couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They took a 30-14 bruising from the Simmons Blue Devils on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Red Devils in their meetings with the Blue Devils: they've now lost three in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Stringer lost, don't look at Jaheim Campbell. Despite the final result, he rushed for 122 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Campbell also punched in two rushing touchdowns, which is notable because the Red Devils are 8-1 when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 1-2 otherwise.

Stringer's loss dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Simmons, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.

Stringer does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Simmons, they are taking a road trip to face off against Nanih Waiya at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Blue Devils will need to watch out since the Warriors have now posted at least 31 points in their last six contests.
