Softball Recap: Indiana School for the Deaf Deaf Hoosiers vs. Herron Achaeans
Indiana School for the Deaf lost against Herron back in March of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. On Herron's side, Jordyn Ault was a major factor no matter where she played. She pitched five innings while giving up three earned runs off seven hits. Ault was even better at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3.
In other batting news, Herron got a massive performance out of Taylor Bailey, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Bella Rollins, who scored three runs and stole three bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
Indiana School for the Deaf now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Herron, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-4.
