Sheridan extended their winning streak to 11 games thanks to a huge performance from Kenzie Garner. The Sheridan Blackhawks walked away with a 55-45 victory over the University Trailblazers on Wednesday thanks in part to Garner, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Sheridan's points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Brielle Garner, who posted 12 points. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points.

University's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gabby Culp, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 boards. Another player making a difference was Anyah Turley, who put up nine points and three steals.

Sheridan's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-1. As for University, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-9.

Sheridan didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 63-33 victory against Tri-Central on the 10th. As for University, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Covenant Christian at 7:00 p.m. Covenant Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.4 points per game this season.
