Soccer Recap: West Geauga Has No Trouble Against Madison

West Geauga kept a clean sheet against Madison on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 7-0 margin over the Blue Streaks. The final result isn't all that surprising considering West Geauga's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked third, while Madison are ranked 47th).

West Geauga's offense was hitting Madison from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Faelynn Beckrest led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

West Geauga now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Madison, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1-1.

West Geauga wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 6-0 victory against Shaker Heights on the 25th. As for Madison, they have also already played their next contest, a 4-0 win against Edgewood on the 26th.
