Football Game Preview: Cuba City Cubans vs. Fennimore Golden Eagles

The Cuba City Cubans will square off against the Fennimore Golden Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

On Friday, Cuba City lost to Benton/Scales Mound IL/Shullsburg on the road by a 21-7 margin.

Meanwhile, Fennimore suffered their biggest loss since October 4, 2024 on Friday. They were dealt a 37-6 defeat at the hands of Darlington. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Golden Eagles' biggest loss of the season was also their lowest-scoring.

Cuba City's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Fennimore, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-2.
