Baseball Recap: Central Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Central can now relate to. They took a 10-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Treasure Coast Titans on Tuesday. The Cobras were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Titans apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2025.

Central got a massive performance out of Timothy Stevens, who went 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Stevens is becoming a predictor of the Cobras' success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 6-1 (and 4-7 when he doesn't). Another player making a difference was Carlos De La Cruz, who went 2-for-3 with one triple and two RBI.

This is the second loss in a row for Central and nudges their season record down to 10-8. As for Treasure Coast, they now have a winning record of 10-9-1.

As of now, neither Central nor the Titans have any future games scheduled.
