Basketball Recap: Carroll Takes a Loss

Carroll was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 43-33 to the Boone Toreadors. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Toreadors earlier this season, when they won 50-27.

Carroll's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Boone, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-10 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Carroll will welcome Winterset at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers will be up against the Huskies' rather soft defense (which has allowed 51.06 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Boone, they will face off against Bondurant-Farrar at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
