Softball Recap: North Pitt Panthers vs. Farmville Central Jaguars
North Pitt had lost seven straight at home, but on Tuesday they dropped their record down to 2-19 to make it eight. They came up short against the Farmville Central Jaguars, falling 15-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Jaguars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 last Monday.
As for Farmville Central, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-4. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matches by six runs or more this season.
For Farmville Central's part, Corri Houston made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out eight over four innings pitched.
