Baseball Recap: Rancho Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Rancho's offense. They lost 12-0 to the Sierra Vista Mountain Lions on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Rams of the 12-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2025.

Rancho is on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4. As for Sierra Vista, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-2.

Rancho wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 14-4 defeat against Palo Verde on the 6th. As for Sierra Vista, they are taking a road trip to take on Bishop Gorman at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
