Skyline has gone a perfect 10-0 against Dobson recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Coyotes will square off against the Mustangs at 3:45 p.m. The last four games Skyline has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
Skyline took a seven-run defeat the last time they faced off against Williams Field, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Coyotes narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Black Hawks 4-2. Four seems to be a good number for the Coyotes as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Easton Leon spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on five hits. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Skyline is 8-3 when he allows at most two walks, but 5-8 otherwise.
At the plate, Hunter Daniels was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Grant Taylor, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.
Gilbert hit Dobson with a five-run fifth inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Mustangs fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 9-7. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Joseph Osorio was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and one double. Aaron Mutascio also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.
Skyline's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 13-11. As for Dobson, their loss dropped their record down to 6-17.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Skyline has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.5 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Dobson struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 2.7 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Everything went Skyline's way against Dobson when the teams last played back in March of 2024, as Skyline made off with a 14-4 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Coyotes since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
