Baseball Game Preview: Northwest Indians vs. Fairless Falcons

For the second straight game, Northwest will face off against Fairless. The Indians will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against the Falcons at 5:00 p.m. Northwest's pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so Fairless' hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Having struggled with five defeats in a row, Northwest turned things around against Fairless on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Falcons, sneaking past 3-2.

Josh Smith looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

On the hitting side, Branded Miller was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Parker Kraft also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Northwest's victory bumped their record up to 6-10. As for Fairless, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-5.
