Soccer Recap: Hanford Comes Up Short

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Hanford and Richland, and Richland kept the tradition alive. The Falcons fell just short of the Bombers by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. That's two games in a row now that Hanford have lost by just one goal.

Hanford has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. As for Richland, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-4.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Hanford is set to take on their familiar foe Hermiston at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Richland will face off against rival Southridge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
