Basketball Recap: Philomath Comes Up Short

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Philomath couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the Cascade Cougars by a score of 35-33 on Sunday. The defeat was just more heartbreak for the Warriors who fell 46-44 when the teams previously met back in March of 2024.

Philomath's loss dropped their record down to 22-7. As for Cascade, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Philomath nor Cascade have any future games scheduled.
