Football Recap: Winters Finds Playoff Glory Versus Durham + How To Watch

Winters extended their postseason success on Friday against Durham. They walked away with a 35-22 victory over the Trojans. The win continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now won four in a row.

It was another big night for Lane Brown, who rushed for 191 yards and four TDs while picking up 7.1 yards per carry, and also threw for 269 yards on only 17 passes. That's the most rushing touchdowns he has posted since back in November of 2024. Winters' leading receiver Luke Felsen was Brown's top target yet again, picking up 170 receiving yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Winters was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 278 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 166 rushing yards in seven consecutive games.

Winters' record is now 11-1. As for Durham, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season.

Winters will square off against Hamilton at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Braves' defense has only allowed five points per game this season, so the Warriors' offense will have their work cut out for them. Durham does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
