Volleyball Recap: St. Joseph Find Success

St. Joseph won the last time they faced Lexington and things went their way on Thursday too. The Flyers walked away with a 2-0 win over the Eagles. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Flyers.

Jordyn Johnston paced St. Joseph's offense, picking up 11 kills. Johnston got some help from Zoey Henning and her 15 assists. Henning was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

St. Joseph's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Lexington, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

St. Joseph wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Victoria West on the 15th. As for Lexington, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against El Campo on the 15th.
