Volleyball Recap: Baraboo Comes Up Short

Baraboo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Monona Grove Silver Eagles. While the Thunderbirds didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Silver Eagles 25-16 in the first set.

Baraboo started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The match finished with set scores of 16-25, 25-15, 15-8.

Baraboo's loss dropped their record down to 14-21. As for Monona Grove, with the win, they broke their four-match losing streak and moved their record to 16-17.

Baraboo has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Beaver Dam on the 11th. As for Monona Grove, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Oregon on the 11th.
