A well-balanced attack led Stagg over Franklin in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Delta Kings blew the Yellowjackets out of the water with a 47-0 final score. That's more bragging rights for the Delta Kings, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Stagg's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Darnell Holmes led the charge by rushing for 145 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.1 yards per carry. Holmes showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 65 yards. Another signal caller making a difference was Dario Dominguez, who threw for 243 yards and four TDs while completing 75% of his passes.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Stagg's defense and their four sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Elias Mao and Leron Bursey, who racked up all four sacks between them. Mao is also crushing it when it comes to total tackles: he's made at least six every time he's taken the field this season. Another thorn in Franklin's side was Michael Gonzales, who made ten total tackles (2.0 for loss) and snagged an interception.

The win was the third in a row for Stagg, bringing their record up to 3-1. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 7.0 points on average over those games. As for Franklin, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.
