Softball Recap: North Lamar Takes a Loss

North Lamar was the 13-1 winner over Pittsburg when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Panthers fell just short of the Pirates by a score of 4-3 on Tuesday. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

North Lamar's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Pittsburg, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-9 record this season.

North Lamar is taking a road trip to take on Hughes Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Mustangs will roll in looking for their 20th straight victory, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight. Pittsburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
