Dayspring Academy has struggled against Madison Academy recently, as their game on Thursday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Dayspring Academy still got an impressive performance from John-Michael Martin, who shot 4-for-8 from beyond the arc and dropped a triple-double on 45 points, 14 rebounds, and ten steals. That was a full 63.4% of Dayspring Academy's points, marking the eighth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Jordan Jackson was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Dayspring Academy has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season. As for Madison Academy, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
